JigJam - Encore Performance of Celtgrass at HERTH Hall
Hailing from County Offaly, the hottest new act on the Celtgrass Music Scene is JigJam! Antrim County's Historic Elk Rapids Town Hall (HERTH Hall), is pleased to announce an ENCORE performance featuring this fine young quartet all the way from Ireland.
This Offaly quartet have developed a new, exciting, energy-fueled live sound (Celtgrass) blending the best of Bluegrass and Irish Folk Music. The band comprises Jamie McKeogh (Guitar, tenor banjo and lead vocals), Daithi Melia (5 String Banjo and vocals). Cathal Guinan (Double Bass, fiddle and vocals) and Gavin Strappe(Mandolin, tenor banjo and vocals).
JigJam's debut album "Oh Boy!" is a tour de force of Irish and Americana music, and a brilliant representation of their live show. It has been described as "A scintillating debut album from a great bunch of young guys. JigJam are a terrific live act" by Enda Scahill of We Banjo 3.
